                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
                   AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE AGREEMENT WITH EMPE,
                   INC., RELATIVE TO THE APPEAL OF THE STATE
                   DIVISION OF WATER QUALITY BIOMONITORING
                   REQUIREMENT, FOR AN ADDITIONAL AMOUNT OF
                   FOUR THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS
                   ($4,000.00).

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       execution of Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement with EMPE, Inc.,
       relative to the appeal of the State Division of Water Quality
       Biomonitoring requirement, for an additional amount of $4,000.00.
